Welcome to SunJays Medicine at the home of Powwow Lodge, offering shamanic totem drums, medicine bundles, traditional and indigenous plant medicines, smudging herbs, anointing oil plant perfumes. I also offer healing medicine potions, custom crafted ceremonial tools, sacred ritual adornments and amulets.
My inspiration comes from the sacred Chumash land where I live. Nature abounds and surrounds me.
As a Celtic child I grew up in the healing lineage of my grandmother. I was taught the knowledge of plant medicines and ways of honoring and growing on the land. Since my adult years I studied further and extensively with many indigenous teachers, medicine elders and plant shamans, learning the sacred healing skills of their tribes and traditions.
I lovingly handcraft each sacred item while blessing it for the highest good.
When you purchase an item from SunJays Medicine, you are supporting a small home-based business, small growers of plants and herbs, that in turn, support and nurture our precious earth.
If you would like a customized item or for international orders, please contact me.
I have been working with the healing power of plants since a child, following in the footsteps of my grandmother – a humble, yet powerful spiritual healer who initiated my path. I carry medicine from my Celtic heritage and many indigenous and native traditions. Fortunate and privileged to study with many respected healers, teachers and elders, I feel truly honored to walk this sacred path.
"Passion is in my paint, drum and prayer song.
Each oil, tea, medicine bag and drum I create holds the sacred knowledge of my ancestors.
Creator you teach me everyday to hold a deeper reverence for myself and our precious earth.
Mother earth, thank you for the gift of your healing plant medicines – for the abundance of clean air, fresh water and nourishing food.
Father sky, father sun and sweet grandmother moon. All my relations, I hold you sacred and dear in my heart."
